Signup
First of all, there are a couple of requirements you have to fulfill before signing up:
- An email address that you are going to keep for a while, preferably an ISP-mail
- Access to a mobile phone or other device with SMS-capability
You have to have a registered account at Shellsnet ( the IRC-network where our chat channel is located, website here: http://www.shellsnet.org/ . Registered with Nickserv that is, not registered on their wiki! )
- You have to be able to speak English
Next, follow these steps:
Hang around in the IRC-channel for a week or so and try to get and know us. You have to be somewhat active, stats is available here so you can see how active you are: http://shell.blinkenlights.se/rhea/~blinkenbot/
- Send me a pm and I'll ask you some questions about you, your intentions with the shell and so on. If you answer in a good way, you will be given an activasion code.
- Use the activasion code to login to the signup program. Here you will validate your email and phone (SMS) aswell as aswering some more questions and doing a quiz.
- When you're done with all that, I'll review the application and manually create an account if I feel you're a good user.
