 * Merry christmas and a happy new year!
 * Blinkenshell is about to move to a new IRC-network because shellsnet is closing down. There is a new channel called #blinkenshell that's available on the IRC-network irc.systemshells.net. Web access to IRC is now available through CGI:IRC here: http://blinkenshell.org/cgiirc/
 * We are accepting new registrations.
===== Server problems 18-19 December =====
I've been working hard all night and I'm happy to say that everything seems to be working again. However, all passwords are reset, ask Independence for your new password.

Since I had to reinstall some of the system, I decided to also move the shell to another partition and increase the quota for all users from 10 MB to 50 MB (25 MB for homedir and 25 MB for websites).

Not all programs are installed yet, if you miss something just ask Independence to install it again. There might also be some problems with the websites since I have not had the time to fully test them yet.
 * Server problems, take a look at OperationalStatus
 * A new CategoryHowto on how to use ["Howto/XChat"] to connect to ["Info/IRC"].
 * Upgraded irssi to 0.8.11. You can use /upgrade to reload to the new version without restarting. [http://irssi.org/news/ChangeLog Changelog]
 * The ["Info/Signup"] program and the signup info has changed a bit (25 Apr).
 * Everything up and running, we are accepting new registrations.
